Warcraft Rumble: Marshal Redpaw
Marshal Redpaw serves as the boss in Map 2-3 of the Westfall Campaign in Warcraft Rumble, periodically rallying a squad of Footmen and displaying vulnerability to Elemental attacks.
It’s important to note that in this level, Footmen are armored, resulting in a 50% reduction in physical damage inflicted upon them.
Map of Marshal Redpaw
The first thing to note is the Campaign Map’s layout. In Westfall 2-3 in Warcraft Rumble, there are two lanes, with an enemy tower situated directly in front of your tower on the left lane and a switch further ahead.
On the right lane, you’ll come across a meeting stone and two gold veins.
You will be facing a lot of footmen and shamans on this map. Once the game starts, footmen will charge, and the shamans will be right behind them, healing the footmen whenever the unit receives damage in Warcraft Rumble.
When those shamans initiate a push, they can seize towers on their own and potentially inflict damage to your base, making it crucial to keep a vigilant eye on them.
Optimal strategy involves disregarding the right lane entirely and directing all your Minis to the left.
The crucial factor is swiftly concluding the game before depleting your resources and giving the enemy an opportunity to heal.
Concentrate on demolishing the tower in the left lane to fortify your defense and effectively deploy your minis to confront Marshal Redpaw in Warcraft Rumble. This should take him down quickly and finish the game with ease.
To secure victory, it’s essential to manage the footmen and shaman push effectively by using a robust tank capable of absorbing the damage in Warcraft Rumble.
Tanks like Footmen, Molten Giant, and even Abomination are well-suited to handle this challenge.
In addition to a dependable tank, it’s crucial to have a mini equipped with Elemental AoE (Area of Effect) damage such as Flamewaker, Bat Rider, and Fire Elemental to inflict significant harm on the Footmen while employing Gargoyles to target and eliminate the boss in Warcraft Rumble.
If you lack effective elemental minis, consider utilizing elemental spells like Chain Lightning on Footmen or the Marshal.
As Marshal Redpaw in Warcraft Rumble consistently deploys Footmen on both sides of the lane, there may come a point when the right side becomes inundated with enemies.
In such situations, deploy an AoE Elemental to manage the crowd effectively or use Chain Lightning to thin out their number.
- Focus on the Left Lane.
- Use Tank, and right behind them are Elemental and Gargoyle to take down enemy Tower.
- Control enemies punishing Right Lane using Harpies, Elemental, or Whelp Egg.
- Keep pushing Left Lane to defeat Marshal Redpaw.
The lineup is clear-cut. As mentioned earlier, a robust and dependable tank is crucial for absorbing incoming damage. Additionally, you’ll require an AoE Elemental Damager, air units, and, optionally, a spell to trim down the number of enemies.
- Tanks: Molten Giant, Footmen, or Abomination.
- Elementals: Pyromancer, Fire Elemental
- Flying: Harpies, Gargoyle
- Spell: Chain Lightning
Harpies prove effective against groups of Footmen lacking range support, particularly for isolating those attacking on the right lane.
Meanwhile, Gargoyles excel at dismantling towers, so strategically deploy them behind your tank to enhance their survivability.
Take note that Footmen are susceptible to Elemental attacks. In the presence of enemy footmen accompanied by a shaman, opt to deploy a Fire Elemental or Pyromancer instead of Harpies.
Alternatively, consider employing Whelp Eggs to defend your right lane in lieu of Harpies.
Whelp Eggs can be strategically placed anywhere on the map, inflict elemental damage, and exhibit strength against armored minis like Footmen.
Upon being attacked, the egg hatches into its final form—a flying unit that non-ranged minis cannot target.
Channeling your efforts into the left lane allows you to secure the tower earlier in the game while conserving resources compared to starting on the right lane.
This grants your minis more space to attack, and miners can collect gold veins without being targeted by the tower.
While it’s feasible to progress through the Campaign by going right, this approach prolongs the game and exhausts more resources than necessary.
