Tales Of Dragon Tier List

Tales of Dragon is a fantasy RPG that was just released by X-Legend Entertainment and has already started to make the rounds among RPG fans.

It’s a vast open world of powerful dragons, and your task is to team up with others, fight against many different enemies, and uncover some deep ancient secrets!

But these tasks don’t sound like something an individual can do alone. This is the reason why you get pets as companions. There are 37 pets in the game at the moment, with more to come in the future.

As you would guess, pets differ in power, abilities, and skills. And this is why we have come up with a Tales of Dragon tier list of our own. Here, you will learn the best and worst pets to use.

Keep in mind that you can upgrade your pets as well. So, even if you have some lower-powered ones, you can always level them up.

How do we Define our Tiers?

Before moving forward, let’s see what we mean when we say a Pet is S, A, B, or C tier.

S-Tier: The absolute best pets to use in the game. They are the most powerful and have supreme abilities.
A-Tier: The second-best pet options. These are excellent choices when you don’t have any S-tier pets unlocked.
B-Tier: These are good pets as well, but just can’t compete with the top two tiers. However, you have more chances to hatch and upgrade them.
C-Tier: These pets are just average, and you can get them at the start of the game. They don’t have very good stats, but upgrading them can make them significantly more usable.

Now that we have defined our tiers, let’s move on to the actual Tales of Dragon tier list!

Remember that below we’ll mention the base stats of every pet. The stats can be way better, depending on your character’s level and overall power.

S-Tier

The following stats are the same for all S-tier pets:

MagATK: 1200
PhyDef: 200
MagDef: 200
HP: 12000

Some pets also have the same Natural Skill, as follows:

Earl Owl, Flame Lion, and Michael:

Berserk: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 1260. Base DEF by 252, base HP by 10080, and pet’s ATL by 0.94%.

Fat Hillbilly Cat and Raphael:

Guard: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 1008, base DEF by 504, pet’s base HP by 10080, and base DEF by 1.5%.

Time Barrier, Long-eared Gentleman, and Little Raccoon:

Blessing: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 756, base DEF by 252, base HP by 20160, and HP by 1%.

Now let’s look at their Active skills which makes them S-tier!

1. Earl Owl

Endless Night: Deals 400% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own DMG bonus by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

2. Fat Hillbilly Cat

Decree of Fate: Deals 400% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own DEF by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

3. Time Barrier

Time Hourglass: Deals 400% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own DMG reduction by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

4. Long-eared Gentleman

Death Dance – Icy Poison: Deals 400% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own Crit Resistance by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

5. Flame Lion

Blazing Fury: Deals 400% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own ATK by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

6. Raphael

Divine Word: Deals 400% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own Res by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s.

7. Michael

Divine Strike: Deals 400% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: A 75% chance to cause the opponent to bleed, losing 6^ of its max HP per second (ineffective to monsters) for 5s, CD for 20s.

8. Little Raccoon

Tanuki Storm: Deals 400% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s and own DMG Reduction by 15% for 5s and CD for 20s

A-Tier

The following stats are the same for all A-tier pets:

Mag. ATK: 300
PhyDef: 50
MagDef: 50
HP: 3000

Again, some pets have the same Natural Skill, as follows:

Blue Bear, Chef Penguin, Bamboo Dweller, Giant Totoro, Crispy:

Strength: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 630, base DEF by 158, base HP by 9450, and HP by 0.5%.

Giant Black Cow, Navy Gull, Whirlwind Skeleton:

Deadly: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 630, base DEF by 158, base HP by 9450, and ATK by 0.5%.

Rogue Bunny, Elf Avril, Three-tailed Fox, Gentleman Spirit, Chubby Black Bear:

Protection: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 630, base DEF by 158, base HP by 9450, and DEF by 0.5%.

1. Blue Bear

Raccoon Protection: Deals 360% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s crit resistance by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

2. Giant Black Cow

Hysteria: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DMG bonus by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s

3. Rogue Bunny

Street Violence: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DEF by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

4. Chef Penguin

Show Off: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DMG Reduction by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

5. Elf Avril

Power of Fairies: Deals 360% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s Pen Res by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

6. Navy Gull

Fearless Oath: Deals 360% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional Effect: Increases character’s ATK by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

7. Whirlwind Skeleton

Whirlwind Slaughter: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Has 75% chance of causing the target to bleed and lose 5% max HP per second (ineffective to monsters) for 5s and CD for 20s.

8. Three-tailed Fox

Mist Slaying – Shadow Remains: Deals 360% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DEF and Pen Res by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

9. Bamboo Dweller

World-Class Expert: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DMG reduction and Crit resistance by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

10. Giant Totoro

Falling Attack: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s HP recovery rate by 50% for 5s and CD for 20s.

11. Crispy

Meatball Chariot: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases 10% PVE DMG reduction to characters and pets in battles.

12. Gentleman Spirit

Sound of Heartbreak: Deals 360% M.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases 10% PVE DMG reduction to characters and pets in battles.

13. Chubby Black Bear

Heavy Blow: Deals 360% P.DMG to 4 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases 10% PVE DMG reduction to characters and pets in battles.

B-Tier

The following stats are the same for all B-tier pets:

Cloud Bean, Manic Bear, Forest Protector:

Energy: Increases the pet’s base ATK by 378, base DEF by 126, and base HP by 10080.

Additional effect: Increases DEF by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s

2. Charcoal Cat

Captivating Phanton: Deals 320% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s damage by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

3. Cloud Bean

Cloud Bean’s Anger: Deals 320% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s DMG reduction by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

4. Fiery Spider

Fire Poison Arrow: Deals 320% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Gives 75% chance to poison the opponent, losing 1.5% of its max HP each second (ineffective to monsters) for 5s and CD for 20s

5. Archaic Machine

Chargeable Cannon: Deals 320% P.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s hit chance by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

6. Manic Bear

Heart of Protection: Deals 320% P.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases evasion by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

7. Cute Tiger

Cute Tiger Pounce: Deals 320% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s Crit resistance by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

8. Forest Protector

Forest Barrier: Deals 320% P.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases character’s Crit resistance by 5% for 5s and CD for 20s.

C-Tier

The following stats are the same for all B-tier pets:

Health: Increases pet’s base HP by 3780.

4. Hundred-Spirit Bear

Spirit Bear Protection: Deals 300% P.DMG to 3 enemies.

5. Cloud Bunny

Head Hammer: Deals 300% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases ATK by 50 pts for characters in battles.

6. Squirrel Wright

Squirrel Blasting Hammer: Deals 300% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases HP by 1000 pts for characters in battles.

7. Buttercream

Rage Attack: Deals 300% M.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases ATK by 50 pts for characters in battles.

8. Cyclops

Giant’s Arm: Deals 300% P.DMG to 3 enemies.
Additional effect: Increases P.DEF and M.DEF by 50 pts for characters in battles.
