There are gating features in One Punch Man World behind level requirements, which is a common mechanic in many RPGs and MMOs.

While this serves as a driving force to grind and level, giving their players a sense of achievement for those who had invested time into the game, it can also be frustrating for newer players who struggle to level up quickly and catch up with their peers.

Not to mention, the UI design of the One Punch Man World can be overwhelming for new players, with numerous features presented all at once. If you find yourself struggling to progress beyond the leveling phase of the game, this article will serve as a helpful guide for you.

One Punch Man World – Do Quest

The most fundamental and logical approach is to complete every available quest, as they offer substantial experience points (EXP) and valuable resources as rewards. In the One Punch Man World, there are four types of quests you can undertake:

Main Quest

Also known as “Story Quest,” this is where the main narrative or storyline of the game progresses. These quests are designed to guide players through the game’s mechanics and narrative, introducing key characters, plot development, and more.

Aside from gaining massive EXP and valuable resources, completing Story Quest unlocks new content and areas in One Punch Man World.

Daily Quest

“Daily Quest” should be part of your everyday routine. This quest holds valuable rewards, especially massive EXP and supply packages. You can complete this quest once per day, which will be replenished after reset.

Whenever you log in, you should first complete the Daily Quest to maximize your leveling progress.

Side Quest

“Side Quest” are the optional tasks or missions you can undertake alongside the Main Quest in One Punch Man World. These are separated from the main narrative but offer interesting extra storylines of the NPCs and sometimes your side characters.

Unlike Daily Quest and Main Quest, which instantly appear in your quest list, Side Quest is obtained manually by conversing with NPCs with a blue exclamation icon in the game.

Only selective Side Quest gives EXP reward.

Biography Quest

Similar to side quests, Biography Quests are optional and can be undertaken at your convenience. These quests go deep into the backstory of a featured character from the anime, providing an in-depth introduction and allowing you to learn more about their background in One Punch Man World. Upon completion, these quests reward you with EXP.

Do Joint Actions

Joint Actions is one of the features where you challenge different bosses you have already encountered in One Punch Man World. By completing its challenge quest, you will receive rewards such as team EXP, an EXP card for your character, and credit, all based on your performance.

Rewards from Joint Action challenges can only be claimed once per module. As you progress through the Main Quest, more challenge stages become available, offering further opportunities for more rewards.

The Joint Action feature can be accessed via the Joint Action Terminal, conveniently located within the Hero Association Headquarters.

Do Commission Campaign

Commission Campaign provides various commission quests in exchange for your Energy. The commission offers rewards such as loot, credit, EXP cards, and memory chips, depending on the commission you took.

This grind feature consumes a lot of energy points, but the rewards are worth it. Aim for double or quintuple rewards when selecting the commission.

The best feature of the Commission Campaign is its “Auto Mode,” when selected before starting the commission. The game will take complete control of your characters and auto-battle for you. This will make EXP grinding in One Punch Man World less tedious to do.

The Commission Campaign feature can be found within the Hero Association Headquarters, located to the left of the Joint Action Terminal. Speak to the NPC stationed behind the counter to access the feature window.

Do Event Task

Event Task is a limited quest that gives players different tasks to complete, which will then be rewarded with EXP, resources, and, most importantly, activity points.

The Limited-Time Event, “Serious Training,” is currently running, and just like battle passes, you will need the activity points to reach each milestone. These milestones reward you with energy, high-level EXP cards, summoning tickets, credit, and more.

Completing the objectives not only earns you activity points but also grants that sweet EXP you need. Once you have completed all the milestones for the limited-time event “Serious Training,” you’ll have the opportunity to select an SSR Hero as your reward.

Tips

  • You must follow a routine to maximize your EXP farming in One Punch Man World. Once you log in, do your daily quest before moving on to the main or side quest.
  • Ensure you have used up all your Energy points before logging out from the game by clearing Joint Actions or spending it all on the Commission Campaign to allow your energy to replenish while you’re offline.
  • Don’t hesitate to explore the world! There are hidden items on the map that you can collect, and some provide EXP and EXP cards. Exploring the map also helps you find sidequests that hold enjoyable stories.

Conclusion

There you have it! Just remember to do the routine as advised to maximize your EXP grinding and efficiently use the energy points you have in hand, which allows it to regenerate.
