Karma is not only used to evolve, and level up characters by fusing duplicates/upgrade materials into the main character, but can also be used to acquire common heroes. Just tap the summon icon on the lower-right corner of the screen and scroll down until you see the “Karma Summon” section. You will need 5000 Karma to acquire a common character. While the price for getting a common hero is a bit high, acquiring karma points is pretty easy. Here are some tips to get them:Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner’s story mode is possibly the best place for karma farming. When you complete a mission in a new chapter, you open three more game modes: Harvest, Challenge and Challenge+. You can replay the same mission in these modes to get rewards, which includes karma.
However, a mission played in challenge mode is not as easy as you think. You will have a tough time defeating enemies in every turn. Even the “Harvest” mode, which is supposed to be easy for farming rewards, can be hard to finish if you don’t have stronger characters equipped with powerful weapons. The best way to farm karma is to play a completed story mission. You don’t have to tap any other tabs, just tap the green button to play a mission under “Story” and get Zel and karma. You will need energy to play it.
Enable auto battle on a replayed mission. Make sure you play previous missions in which you earned one or two stars. Try to get three stars, which may be quite achievable in auto mode. You will get additional rewards if you acquire 3 stars by playing a completed mission. Please note that auto battle is activated only when you replay a completed mission.
Look for Karma-exclusive events. Such events will be available for a limited time, but will again appear after a cooldown time of 24 hours or less. On your home screen, scroll down to find one, tap the “confirm” button and take your best heroes to fight enemies. You will get lots of karma in such events, plus you will also receive zel and player EXP on completing a mission.
Level up to increase the karma cap. If it is capped to 1000 then you can get only 1000 karma. The best way to level up is to play and replay story missions to get player XP.
Make sure you login daily to get rewards. You will receive Karma on certain days. Don’t miss a day as it may prevent you from reaching the end of the daily rewards calendar or getting higher rewards.
How to Acquire Characters
There are tons of characters to collect in Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner. Here’s how you can get them:
You can get characters using summon orbs. You will get them from “welcome rewards”. Just tap the envelope icon on your home screen to get them. You will receive 300 orbs as welcome bonus.
You will need a minimum of 250 orbs to acquire a 3-4 star unit. Summon orbs are given as rewards in certain story missions. The orb icon will flash on a mission. Make sure you complete such missions and earn three stars to acquire max orbs. For example, in Act 1-8, you can get 100 orbs for completing that mission. Another way of earning these orbs is by playing the game every day. You will get them as daily login bonuses. You will receive 50 or more orbs on certain days.
Quest events will let you summon rare 3 or 4 star characters from time to time. The current quest event – Peona (Night of the Hunters of Teelandia) will let you summon Peona, Check Altik or Check the Quartermaster. You will have to collect 800 hunter crystals by playing event missions to summon any one of these three characters. Find all 800 crystals by playing this limited time quest to grab Peona or other units.
You will also get a free summon every day. Tap the summon page and scroll down to get your free 1, 2 or 3 star character from the “Free Summon” page. Like I said earlier, you can also acquire units using Karma. On the left side, you can see the Karma summon. If you have 5000 karma, tap the green button to get a 1 or 2 star unit.
Lastly, you can get a rare or super rare unit using silver and golden tickets. Get these tickets as daily login rewards.
Check the drop rate of all units in the summon page. Tap the tiny “i” icon on the lower-right corner of each summon section to know drop rates of units or weapons.
