Basic Game Play
First things first, you need to know that the game is all about challenging the campaign mode, upgrading everything about your character, starting from their equipment to their skills, and other things we will mention later on.
So, to get better loot, obtain new characters, and have better idle rewards, you need to start off with the campaign, which is the first thing you will be redirected to.
Hit the “Challenge” button, and let’s begin.
Before going into any battle, you will have to choose the characters you are going with. You can add up to 6 characters per battle.
All you need to do is tap on the hero you want to play with at the bottom of the screen.
Remember that every hero has her own abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, so always aim to place the mages or weaker characters in terms of their skills.
Place them behind the tanks by pressing on the character itself and moving it to the spot you want so they don’t die in the very first round.
You might have the strongest characters, but your formation will determine whether you win or lose the battle.
Battles and Skills in Girl Wars
Once you are in the battle, at the bottom of your screen, you will find the heads of all the characters deployed, where you can use attacks, skills, and the ULT.
To start with, on the top, there is a full health bar of all of your characters combined with the enemy. Below is the number of rounds; each round is counted when you have used all of your characters.
On the side of the screen, there is the SPD button, where you increase the speed of the game, and the Skip button, which you can use to skip the round.
If you didn’t win using the skip feature, try using the manual one, where you get more control over the characters.
There are 3 types of attacks: the basic attack, the skill, the ULT, and you get 2 phases.
The first one is the ULT, which we will discuss below; the second phase is the attack phase.
In the attack phase, you get 2 options: either the skill is activated, and you can use it to deal more damage or break your enemy’s shield, or if it’s not activated, you get to deal a basic hit.
Sometimes, when you attack, the skill gets activated.
The first phase you get is the ultimate. You can swipe the character’s head icon to activate this phase. Each character has her own ULT; some deal tons of damage, and some can even heal your team.
The ULT is activated once the fury bar is full, which increases by attacking an enemy or getting attacked.
Remember that you can always skip the ULT phase by doing a normal attack in case you want to save it for the next round of the same battle.
Once you complete chapter 3, you will unlock the trials, and you get to play 5 elite stages of each chapter.
You are able to unlock rare hero shards, but remember that the higher the level, the higher the difficulty.
Although the enemies are more powerful in comparison to the normal campaign, if a hero of yours has 7 stars, she will get the final ULT.
Each trial battle costs 10 energy points, so for a full trial of a chapter, you will need 50 energy points in case you win all of them.
You get 100 energy points by default, and the energy is renewed over time.
There are many aspects of Girl Wars that would increase your BP, which is your overall strength, but the equipment is one of the strongest things that increases your BP.
Head to the Hero tab so you can find all of your heroes and change their equipment.
Once you are in the Hero tab, you can select any hero you want to upgrade their equipment from the panel on the left.
It’s as easy as that; all you need to do is press “Auto Equip” on the right panel, which will automatically replace weaker equipment with stronger ones.
Equipment can be obtained by completing stages in the campaign mode, purchasing them, or even leaving the idle mode to do its magic and get you tons of loot.
Girl Wars has an idle mode that auto-battles while you are offline. The auto-battle is an easy way to earn gold, EXP, and equipment, as we mentioned above.
Remember that you have an idle time cap of 12 hours in Girl Wars, so always log in to claim your rewards so that your heroes can gain more loot.
Also keep in mind that the higher the stage you are at, the better the loot; aim for going higher in stages so you can get legendary items.
Once you have the items set, you can start enhancing them so that they get more powerful by increasing both your attack and health. All you have to do is proceed to the equipment tab and select the piece you want to enhance.
You have 2 options: enhancing 1 level and 5x levels, which would cost you gold that is earned by either the idle mode or completing tasks and finishing more stages.
Always remember to enhance all of your equipment so that you can stay strong. After doing so, press the auto-equip so that it gets replaced by another stronger item.
As you progress through Girl Wars, you will collect different items in various rarities, and you will find all the items you have collected in your bag.
Once your bag is full, you will need to smelt them. Smelting them will collect all the items of low rarity to give you a better one.
You can manually place 6 items to smelt them or just auto-select items by using the option in the bottom right corner, which will automatically choose the lowest rarity and place them.
After smelting equipment, you will receive smelting points, which can be used to forge legendary items by heading to the “Forge” tab on the left panel.
This is a fast way to get stronger items and increase your overall stats in Girl Wars.
Welcome to the city in Girl Wars where you can find a variety of things to do, such as building mines and other buildings, using cards to draw hero shards, and a lot more.
The more stages you clear in the campaign, the more buildings you will be able to build and visit.
The first building you get to unlock is the Jokamachi, which is a gold producer; this is a great way to earn more gold while being idle.
All other buildings will be unlocked as you progress through the game, such as the gem mine, which gets you a lot of gems.
Some other buildings are already unlocked, such as Destiny Jinja, Mall, and all the other buildings that don’t require you to build them, which we will mention below.
Each building you create will have 2 places to deploy heroes. The hero you deploy will speed up production for you.
Remember that each hero has her own unique stats in the building; some can increase the Jokamachi production while others can increase the mine production, and so on, so make sure to match the right heroes with the right buildings.
Heading to Destiny Jinja, which will be unlocked by default, you will find a lot of things to do, and if you are feeling lucky enough, Destiny Jinja is your destination.
Here you can use purple cards to draw hero shards. To increase your loot, you must give Wish a peach. You can find the icon at the top of the screen.
Using a peach will allow you to obtain 2x rewards, and in certain instances, it has a chance for you to obtain 5x rewards.
Star Up Hero
If you are wondering what to do with those hero shards you draw, you use them to level up your heroes’ stars.
Increasing the star level will greatly increase the hero attack, health, and secondary stats bonus of the corresponding class.
Each hero has 6 secondary skills. Once you activate all of them, you will unlock a powerful exclusive skill for the hero.
Girl Wars Mansion
Moving to the mansion, you are able to meet all the beautiful girls in the Girl Wars and get along with them for some time.
In the mansion, you can increase the intimacy of each girl by giving them food, and in return, you will get a lot of rewards.
Increasing intimacy also unlocks girls’ personal stories, biographies, and Q-heads that you can use.
Additionally, intimacy reaches a level where you unlock private items and are able to interact with the girls.
But most importantly, increasing your overall intimacy increases all of your heroes’ stats, so make sure to use it.
Heading back to our great heroes in Girl Wars, one of the great ways to increase your stats is to upgrade your skills by going to the ascension from the hero screen.
Each skill has levels, and each level can be earned by using the EXP scrolls, which you can find in the dungeon.
The higher the rarity of the EXP scroll, the more EXP you gain, with a higher chance of getting additional free EXP.
To advance a skill, you need to hit 5 levels for each one, which will require a lot of EXP scrolls.
Regarding the EXP scrolls, you can obtain them from the Dungeon, which can be found by heading to “Adventure” at the bottom of the screen.
The dungeon has tons of enemies that you must defeat.
Each time you defeat an enemy, you will get a star rating, and based on your rating, you will get better rewards.
Additionally, you can claim daily rewards; the higher the floors cleared, the more rewards you will obtain.
Another way to increase your BP in Girl Wars is to try the enlightenment feature by heading to the Hero tab and going to enlightenment.
In enlightenment, you consume stardust to light stars so you can gain bonus stats such as attack, defense, health, and much more.
Remember that different classes have different secondary stats.
You can gain stardust by building the star towers in the city, which you will unlock as you progress throughout Girl Wars. Make sure that you activate the stars for each hero so that you can make them all stronger.
Girl Wars Guild
Don’t forget to join a guild in Girl Wars, where you will find great gameplay to obtain a lot of rewards, such as the SSR universal shards, fantastic crystal, and soul rune of void, which will greatly help you along the way.
The guild shop is available where you can exchange super rare items.
There are a lot of events that would increase the guild level and grant you rewards.
In the guild, you will get exclusive rewards such as star coins, which will forge a rune, but most importantly, you will get to know more people and help each other conquer the arena.
Girl Wars is a great game to play. It’s a fast-paced and stylish game; even if you are busy, you can leave the idle mode to do its magic until you return.
Learning the game is easy, but mastering it will take some time, as there are a lot of aspects you need to keep an eye on to increase your BP.
Build up your strong team and rule the arena, but most importantly, enjoy the game and its great designs.
