They look tasty, cute, and charming, but we know you’re only interested to see if they can also pack a punch. Cookie Run Kingdom features several Cookies to choose from, each one with its specialty, such as Defense, Ambush, Magic, and Healing.
A team comprises five Cookies separated into three rows: front, middle and rear. Each Cookie can be placed in any row, but some specialties are better for specific ones. You can have two Cookies at max in one row, but one of these will have only one.
Cookie Run Kingdom is quite generous in providing resources to try your luck in the gacha system, allowing you to accumulate Epic, and sometimes Legendaries, Cookies within reason. If you’re lucky enough, you can grab some Ancient Cookies that are in a league of their own.

Legendary Dragon Team
Cookie Run Kingdom announces a new banner each season, portraying a super rare but strong cookie. The one in question is the Pitaya Dragoon Cookie, a Charge-role character whose fiery breath can cause massive damage and debuff enemies. Paired with a Hollyberry Cookie at the front and aided by the Royal Margarine Cookie, whose special can amplify debuffs on enemies, your damage will go through the roof. Add a Parfait Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie in the rear to keep your team kicking.
While this is mainly for PvP, you can also go into Adventure mode with the team. This team’s highlight is Capsaicin Cookie, its burning overtime damage, and 6-second Immortality. Hollyberry Cookie returns at the front to absorb allies’ damage and stun the enemy. Stardust Cookie and Moonlight Cookie are in the middle to debuff enemies repeatedly, while Pure Vanilla stands solo in the rear for heals.
This team is excellent for making your enemies slowly creep to death and for limited-time events presenting high-HP bosses. Poison Mushroom and Prune Juice in the middle are the main Cookies to envenom your opponents. Mala Sauce at the front, alongside Capsaicin Cookie, will burn enemies to a crisp. Capsaicin is already a sturdy tank, but he’s unbeatable with Eclair at the rear with her shield based on Max HP.
Despite being a low-budget team comprised only of Epics, it will still give your opponents a run for their money. At the front, we have Cocoa Cookie, with high defense and team-healing skills. Schwarzwälder accompanies her, charging through enemies with his massive stuns. Eclair Cookie in the middle to shield Cocoa and Captain Caviar to cause AoE damage on the stunned enemies. At the rear, always solo, put Cotton Cookie to passively heal your party and contribute with more stunning.
We’re gonna bend the rules with this one. At the front row, shove in Dark Choco Cookie and Strawberry Crepe Cookie to soak damage, create shields, and debuff enemies’ defense. In the middle row, it’s Latte Cookie to cause damage with her magic skills and then Red Velvet Cookie, an originally front-position type, but we’re being naughty here. Red Velvet has a nasty 5-second stun, and we want to abuse it for as long as possible, so we intend to keep him out of harm’s way. At the rear, we select Vampire Cookie to heal himself with skills.
Cookie Run Kingdom is a game under constant updating, so most strategies will change over time when new Cookies are fresh out of the oven. We will do our best to update this article seasonally so you can thrive and conquer the game.
