The expansive Penacony map, which, in my personal opinion, stands as the best map to date, is divided into Reality and Dreamscape realms. Each realm offers a plethora of treasures, including chests, readable items, origami birds, and much more.

With this article, I will guide you through the location of every treasure chest in Penacony Map, spanning both the Dreamscape and Reality realms.

Penacony – The Reverie (Reality)

This is where you first land upon entering Penacony—the massive lobby area where guests check-in and are assigned to their respective rooms, each with its very own dream pool in Honkai Star Rail.

x6On the 2F, you will find Chest 5 on the west wing, and then follow the hallway to find Chest 6 next to the lobby table.

Chest 7 is by the signboard, and finally, Chest 8 is by the next signboard.

The two remaining chests are in the VIP Lounge. Head back to the center of 2F, and then enter the massive doors to access the lounge. You will find Chest 9 behind the couch and Chest 10 by the Lonely Pianist.

Chest 11 and 12 are on either side of the staircases. Chest 13 is at the far end of the west hallway.

For Chest 14, you must finish the “Cosmic Star” quest to access the room.

To access Chest 15, talk to Chadwick on Dream’s Edge to receive the quest. He’s by the Verdant Manager’s “Great Tree.”

Then lastly, Chest 16 is at the far end of the east hallway, just next to the elderly NPC.

Note: The “Cosmic Star” Sidequest in Penacony will become available after you have completed the Main Quest.

Golden Hour

The real Penacony. In Honkai Star Rail, Golden Hour is the first area you land in once you have entered the Dreamscape. It is bustling with people, harboring numerous secrets, and features sections with minigames and areas ripe for exploration and discovery.

For Chest 6-9, you must transform into Hanu and slip into the vents in Papashi Club (East side of Golden Hour).

For Chest 10, there are two chests available. Head to the marked area (Refer to the photo above); 1st one should be at the corner, and the 2nd one should be inside the vent. You must transform into Hanu and enter the vent next to the television. After collecting and completing the puzzle, the final chest will appear.

Dream’s Edge

Dream’s Edge in Penacony will unlock through the Main Quest by following Firefly through the “sewer” to visit her favorite hideout. This area is larger compared to the others, so I will be dividing it into sections.
